Welcome to our NEW website which will be added to and honed through 2012. We hope you enjoy finding out more about us and will be encouraged to come and visit us. We are a group of very friendly churches – keen on getting to know one another and together discovering more about the God we worship as well as reaching out into our community. We desire above all else to know Jesus and to make Jesus known in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our aim is to be faithful to the Word of God as written in scripture whilst retaining the tradition of the Church and encouraging participation and discussion. Like other villages in the area we have links with Wimborne Minster. However there are 4 Parochial Church Councils to manage their own affairs and a Group Forum, with representatives from each church, where we discuss Ministry and Mission.
These 5 country churches in Dorset provide an oasis of peace in a busy world. Christ invites us to come and find rest. We would love you to come and taste and see for yourselves the friendly atmosphere and the love of the Lord that are to be found here. Congregational members are encouraged to participate fully in the Services by reading the Bible, leading prayers, leading services and helping with Communion.
We have strong links with both Holtwood Methodist Church and Witchampton Methodist Church, including combined events such as the Lent Course, Songs of Praise and, earlier last year, a joint 'Alpha' course.
From the Service Pattern you will see that we provide a variety of forms of worship from the very Traditional through to Modern worship including one evening gathering that is very contemporary and relaxed.
